Sour Prat Temple, which is a series of twelve towers spanning north to south lining the eastern side of a royal square in Angkor Thom, the towers are made from rugged laterite and sandstone, these temples were built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. They are right in front of the Elephant terrace, approximately 11 kilometers from the Siem Reap city. The function of these temples, there are many deference observations, but it was not clear. One of the commenters suggested that the towers are used to settle disputes among Angkorian people. When two men dispute over some unknown matter, each of the contestants is forced to sit in one of them while the relatives stand to watch at the base. After three or four days, he who is wrong shows it by suffering some illness - ulcers, or catarrh, or malignant fever - while the other remains in perfect health.
